project

My project is focused on the different tipes hair.
i tried to represent the movement of the hair using different tipes of filters like black and white or artistic filters.
i was inspirated when i saw a woman in the street moving her long hair for a long time.

Final project: "People in their workplace"

My final project is focused on workers in their workplace, in order to display how they feel in their job through very simple black n' white portraits. I was inspired in Juan Manuel Diaz Burgos's portraits, because they seem to be so simple, but they can transmit many different feelings and emotions, so I tried to recreate that with workers.

Final project: pop art

The main inspiration of this project is the work of Andy warhol. I have taken one picture and modify it to get this collage of five pictures.

coherence between object and backround

I wanted to make a photo that made the viewer appreciate the colors in the picture and the way they work together. I was influenced by color and pattern, the way some colors blend in together nicely and some dont.

Final Project: " Fuzzy People"

My final project is based, in photos people in an urban environment and everyday. I decided to blur to create a sensation not know the exact distance to that originally took the photo.

The method I used for photos, has been to place the entire zoom of the camera and just before making the image move the camera slightly, resulting in blur.

My main influence has been the photographer: Victor Cucart, and second: Joan Fontcuberta, two Spanish photographers.

Final Project

For my final project I decided to take photographs of graffiti art around Ann Arbor. My inspiration is from the work of Keenan Gibbs, a well known graffiti photographer. I found inspiration in his photos because they focus on the bright colors found in the graffiti, something I've tried to capture by highlighting specific colors in each photo. Luckily, there is a great deal of graffiti in Ann Arbor.

Final Project - The 5 Elements - Jen Gewant

Air:

Fire:

Earth:

Water:

Aether:

My inspiration for this project was Aristotle's theory of the 5 elements (fire, earth, air, water, and aether). I decided to shoot abstract photo's depicting a natural atmosphere and the elements using people. Below is another one of my inspirations, a picture from the ceiling of the Sistine Chapel, that inspired me to create the picture that I developed for the element of aether.
